Kugita Seafood & Charcoal Grill

Been here twice and left completely satisfied each time. They serve the best dalandan mojito. I also ordered maki and tadyang. The fish is always fresh and the rolls are super tasty. The tadyang is also worth a try.

Best food in Moalboal, hands down. I ate here two nights in a row and ordered the same things. My wife and I ordered a Tomahawk Chop, Moalboal Roll (Sushi with Bangus!!), and A Truffle Pasta. We couldn’t finish our food due to the generous servings. All for barely 1000 pesos only. For both of us!!

Saw good reviews on google maps and decided to check it out for dinner. arrived around 545 and restaurant was empty. Unique set up of the restaurant where the right of me was candlelit ambience while left side is roadside motor vibes food wise sushi rolls were great as mentioned by many others. decided to get salmon and they were decent size for the price paid. chicken and tomahawk was good portion but were salty for my liking. Potato and beans were nice and truffle sauce that came with chicken was flavourful The cocktails were surprisingly subpar and mediocre. Had rum coke and mango frozen mojito/rose and this slushie did not have mango taste at all. rum coke - coke was not fizzy and no rum taste. food are nice with complementary water, but not a place for cocktails. there’s an atm right outside of the restaurant as the restaurant only accepts cash

Highly recommend! Aside from the delicious food, Kugita offers a relaxing and comfortable hostel. The place was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Sir Jay and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating.

We ordered the kinilaw (Filipino ceviche) and the tuna sashimi to take away, and both were excellent. The kinilaw was incredibly fresh, bright, and well balanced — clean flavors with just the right acidity. The tuna sashimi was high quality, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Even as takeaway, everything held up perfectly. One of the best seafood experiences we’ve had in Moalboal. Highly recommended.

Kugita in Moalboal is an outstanding dining experience. For starters, I had the kinilaw, and it was superb — very authentic and true to the traditional recipe, but prepared with only the freshest, highest-quality ingredients available. For my main course, I enjoyed a decent cut of steak, cooked medium-rare perfectly to my liking — tender, flavorful, and expertly prepared. The waitstaff were attentive and professional, making the meal even more enjoyable. The restaurant also has a great atmosphere — relaxed, stylish, and comfortable. I particularly appreciated the location: close enough to walk from Panagsama, but just far enough away from the main tourist hub to enjoy a calm, peaceful meal without the noise and chatter. Highly recommended for anyone seeking authentic flavors, quality ingredients, and a serene dining experience in Moalboal.
